Hi there! I’m Helena, and I bring my background in HR and organizational development to The Therapy Innovation with the goal of creating a supportive, welcoming environment for both our team and our clients. I’m also pursuing a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Pacific College of Health and Science, so my free time is precious—but I make the most of it by walking my sweet 11-year-old pup Charlie Brown and exploring San Diego. I love caring for plants—propagating them, learning about herbal remedies, and watching them grow. Sewing is another passion of mine; one of my proudest creations is my regalia I wear when I dance with my local group, Danza Azteca Kuauhkoatl. I also enjoy giving new life to old things through kintsugi pottery repair and sashiko, a Japanese embroidery technique. For me, creativity, community, and growth are at the heart of everything I do.
