Frequently Asked Questions

If this is your first time considering therapy, it might feel a bit intimidating or scary. Even if you have been to therapy before, you may  be feeling a bit apprehensive. Either way, this is a very big step, and good for you for taking it! You are very wise to seek help. Below are answers to some common questions that can help you navigate the therapy process and make the decision that is right for you.   • What are the fees per session at TTI?
    TTI fees are $150 per 45 to 55 min session depending on need.
  • Which insurances does TTI accept?
    We currently accept Aetna, Cigna, Magellan, TriCare (West), TriWest, UHC, EAP, Optum, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield with other insurances continually being added.
  • Does TTI offer weekend and evening appointments?
    Yes, TTI has weekday and evening appointments with appointment times as late as 8pm, and Saturdays with appointment times between 9a and 12p. All appointment times based on availability.
  • Dose TTI offer telehealth sessions?
    Yes, telehealth sessions are offered when clinically appropriate.
  • Does TTI offer child care for clients?
    We no longer offer childcare at this time
  • Does TTI provide a superbill?
    Yes, TTI will provide a superbill on the last Friday of the month upon request.
  • What ages do your services accommodate?
    TTI specializes in children ages 3 to 18 as well as adults, individuals, and couples.
  • What if I miss my appointment with TTI?
    If an appointment is missed or not canceled 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time, a fee of $75 dollars will be charged to the card on file. When a client of TTI agrees to an appointment time, that time is no longer available for other TTI clients and is reserved exclusively for you.
  • What factors influence how long someone stays in therapy?
    Treatment length depends on severity of symptoms, frequency of sessions, what a client wants from therapy, and attitude towards treatment. It is difficult to say how long treatment will last. Therapy is a journey, not a destination.
  • Does TTI offer a complementary consultation?
    Yes, TTI offers a complementary phone consultation up to 30 min. This consultation saves time and resources for everyone involved. It is important that the therapist and client are a good fit. An initial consult will help determine whether proceeding with TTI is appropriate.
