Licensed Marriage Family Therapist
Samantha "Sam" Lopez
Sam earned an AA degree in Early Childhood Development, a BA in Early Childhood Education with a thesis in early brain development and a MA degree in Counseling Psy. Marriage Family Child Therapy. She worked her way from a Head Start parent to a Head Start volunteer, teacher assistant, teacher, and finally a Head Start Mental Health Consultant. Sam has many unique specialties as a Licensed Marriage Family Child Therapist including law enforcement family issues, divorced family/court situations and ADD/ADHD diagnosis in adults and children.

Rebecca Schneider

Rebecca, a San Diego native, earned a bachelor’s in Psychology from San Diego State University and a master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University. Over the past year, she has worked as an MFT Trainee at the North County LGBTQ Resource Center, where she has provided support and advocacy for the LGBTQ community. Rebeecca is passionate about fostering acceptance, inclusion, empowerment, and affirmation. She approaches life with optimism and resilience, and she champions autonomy, sexual and gender expression, and individuality as essential foundations for personal growth.

Helena Almaguer
Helena Almaguer is an experienced HR professional with a strong background in improving workplace culture and operational efficiency. She previously served as Operations and Lab Manager for the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative, where she streamlined HR processes and led wellness initiatives. Helena holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Psychology from Park University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Pacific College of Health and Science. Her expertise in HR, organizational development, and team collaboration aligns with Therapy Innovation’s mission to create meaningful, client-centered healthcare solutions.
